Specializing in a truly superior sports massage, perfect for any athlete.

Ms. Erika Andersen is your licensed massage therapist at SUPERIOR MASSAGE and is trained in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, and is certified in myofascial release. After receiving her bachelor of Sport Science from Northern Michigan University she continued her education and graduated from Ann Arbor Instituted for Massage Therapy.

"I became interested in massage therapy so that I could help people. Massage is a great source of pain and stress relief and that is my goal as a therapist. I want you to come see me and leave feeling better.

It is important to be proactive in your own health. The best way to do that is to do everything you can to stay healthy; being active and eating healthy are a great place to start! My role as a massage therapist is to keep you doing what you love."

Outside of massage, Erika is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, camping, and riding her motorcycle (not necessarily in that order). She believes that being active and living healthy play a large role in the happiness we experience in life, and encourages everyone to do what you love and love what you do!

Superior Massage Therapy works primarily with competitive athletes and weekend warriors who use massage as part of their regular self-care routine.

Many of my clients participate in sports such as triathlons, marathons, and olympic weightlifting; they use a combination of massage and stretching to increase range of motion and flexibility and to decrease their chance of injury.
